This home’s elegant black, white, and neutral décor is the perfect frame for spectacular views over the forest to the Pacific, with trees shielding the highway and parting for a perfect view down to the kelp-forested cove, where you can see gray whales blowing and surfacing with the naked eye. Large windows and high ceilings open to sea and sky from the sophisticated great room, with a living room punctuated by leather seating, a large gas fireplace, a chandelier, and a TV with a sound bar. Dine with a view from a table that seats eight, with four additional seats at the quartz breakfast bar. The cooks on your guest list will delight in the electric range, stainless-steel upscale appliances, and the ocean-view farmhouse sink. A sky-high deck lets you listen to the surf and the cries of seabirds from the cove.
A gorgeous king suite on the main floor boasts windows to the sea, club chairs, a wall-mounted TV, and a full bath with a walk-in shower. Downstairs, your guests will find two ocean-view queen bedrooms that share a bath. A bonus room with a sofa sleeper, foosball table, board games, and TV includes twin bunk beds and an access door to a covered hot tub on the back patio. The Depoe Bay seawall is an easy walk and a terrific place to spot whales.
