The Mt. Hood National Scenic Area and Mt. Hood National Forest holds some of Oregon’s crown jewels in terms of natural wonder. Mt. Hood itself is Oregon's highest peak and the Columbia River Gorge is a breathtaking corridor of the state's largest river. The Mt. Hood area is made up of the much-loved Villages of Mt. Hood including Brightwood, ZigZag, Welches, and Rhododendron as well as the treasured ski communities of Government Camp, Mt. Hood Meadows, Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, and Timberline Lodge.
