Oregon WinterFest

Bend Summer Festival
Celebrate a weekend of summertime fun with live music, food and libations, arts and crafts, a kids play zone, and so much more July 7-9.
Balloons Over Bend
The whole family will enjoy watching the Bend sky come alive with glow-in-the-dark hot air balloons throughout the weekend of July 21-23. Soak up those stunning Bend summer nights listening to live music, eating tasty bites from local food trucks, and strolling through various stalls at the marketplace.

On Your Mark, Get Set, Go – Bend offers plenty of racing events throughout the year:
For bikers, gear up with Mudslinger events like the High Cascades 100, the Best of Both, or Ring of Fire. Runners can enter the Bend Marathon, Bend Beer Run, or The Dirty Half.
Try something new and enter the Tour of Meissner – a 17 & 30k classic Nordic Citizen Race & Tour, January 22, or Oregon’s first ever SwimRun race – Sunriver Marina, May 7.

First Friday Art Walk
Starting Friday, February 3, enjoy chatting with artists and makers and sipping on wine samples from Va Piano Vineyards and Evoke Winery as you stroll through the Old Mill District. This community event takes places each first Friday of the month from 3-6 pm
Hayden Homes Amphitheater
Enjoy great live music and stunning views of the Deschutes River and the Cascade Mountains at Oregon’s largest outdoor music venue. Concerts typically start over Memorial Day Weekend, and wind down in the early fall. Make sure and check out the Summer Concert Series if you are visiting Central Oregon in the summer.
Art in the High Desert
Considered one of the top art expositions in the country, this acclaimed event is back in 2023 presenting art lovers and collectors with an impeccably juried fine art and craft show and sale. Deschutes County Fair & Expo, August 2023.
Bend Film Festival
Celebrate the special 20th anniversary of this independent, Academy-qualifying Oregon film festival as they showcase over 100 films and host over 150 filmmakers this year. The film festival is hosted in a number of local theaters including a historic movie theater downtown, a state-of-the-art cinema, inside a craft brewery, a chic performance venue, and BendFilm’s very own Tin Pan Theater!
