Conifers and shrubs native to the Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge will be used to create beautiful holiday wreaths.  Refuge volunteer and master wreath maker Lee Sliman will be instructing the process at the Connie Hansen Garden in Lincoln City from noon to 2:30 pm on Sunday, December 7.

From December to February, ferocious Pacific Ocean waves pound the Coast in Lincoln City, Oregon, towering up to 30 feet or more and driving spectacular walls of water onto the beach — energizing all who watch. Book an oceanfront home to be able to enjoy nature's fury while staying warm and cozy.

Since 1997, local artists in Lincoln City have been dropping glass floats. These can be found above the tide line and below the beach embankment. When you find a float, call the Visitor and Convention Bureau (VCB), 800-452-2151 or 541-996-1274, and register your float.

Lincoln City's Connie Hansen Garden was recently featured in the book "The Pacific Northwest Garden Tour" by Donald Olson, and mentioned among the best in the Pacific Northwest. Check out more on this article by visiting
