Enjoy a scenic ride past Haystack Rock, along the old “Oregon Beach Highway,” and to the picturesque waterfall at Hug Point. Staff will be scattered throughout points on the ride to assure rider safety.  4:30-6:30pm – Beach Party and Fat Bike Olympics.   After the waterfall ride, riders will pedal straight to Tolovana Beach Recreation Site (on the beach in front of Mo’s Restaurant) for fat bike games, races, local brews by Pelican Brewing Co., snacks, and good times with new friends.   Sunday, May 19  12-2pm – Guided Mountain Bike Rides at Klootchy Creek Trails  Join members of the local bike club, Northwest Trail Association for a fun guided ride of the local mountain bike trail system. This ride is excellent on your acoustic fat bike or Class 1 e-bike. The local bike club maintains this system, but the trails are on private land, and the landowners do not allow any bikes that have a throttle. There will be options for intermediate to advanced-level riders. Download the maps from Trailforks to your mobile device. A free access permit from Nuveen Natural Capital is required.
