Climb the dune a few hundred yards from your cottage and you’ll see the hulk of Haystack Rock rising out of the Pacific. Walk down the beach to Cape Kiwanda and join surfers, tide-poolers, dune-climbers, and beach-combers enjoying the Cape. Sample award-winning beers at the Pelican Pub right on the beach, or an upscale cocktail and meal at the Meridian Restaurant. Purchase dory-caught fish at the nearby market, rent surf equipment at Moment Surf, or grab coffee and pastry at Stimulus Coffee + Bakery—it’s all right out your door and mere blocks away.
