around its inspiring Pacific overlook, Sea Escape has a wall of windows in the living
room for dramatic, panoramic ocean views—it’s a great place to gather, with
comfortable seating, a gas fireplace and a large flat-screen TV/DVD.
The marvelous ocean-view kitchen is fully equipped to feed a crowd at the dining
table for ten. The two queen bedrooms on the main level have their own TVs; so do
the king bedrooms upstairs. Outdoors you can lounge on the deck, grill at the
barbecue or soak in the hot tub—a spacious lawn above the ocean gives the kids
space to play. Your Nelscott location puts you close to beach access, but also a short
walk to dining, shopping, the Oregon Coast’s largest used bookstore and a
community theater. A six-plex cinema and the Taft tourist district are minutes away.
Watch seals in the surf from your living room or head to the beach for miles of
walking on level sand—Sea Escape gives you an easy location, lots of space and all
the amenities you need for a great time on the coast!

Reviewed on 2018-10-16 by This I s about the fifth year in a row our whole family has vacationed at Sea Escape. We love being ocean front with the spectacular view. The house is comfortable and roomy with plenty of space for our growing grandchildren. Beach access is wonderful and the best part of this year was the gorgeous weather. We are already talking about returning next year.

The folks at Meredith Lodging were very helpful in helping us get settled in & addressing our requests.

Reviewed on 2017-11-18 by We were a group is six women who had grown up together in So. California. This was the first time we had all been together in 37 years. Everyone was delighted with the windows across the back of the house and the ocean waves crashing on the beach right in front of us. We spent a lot of time looking out the windows watching the ocean while we talked, laughed and ate. In the morning we watched for seals and were always rewarded with at least some heads bobbing in the waves. Our last morning one of them swam across so close to shore that we could see his body. What a delight! From our perch above the beach, we watched the rain turn to sun and and back again and were rewarded with beautiful rainbows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean and comfortable. There were lots of extra blankets in the bedrooms and plenty of towels. The weather did not encourage use of the hot tub so I cant really review that. We were able to spend our days enjoying the view, walking the beach and catching up on each others lives without the interruption or frustration of issues with the house. The weekend was amazing and we didnt want to leave.

The weather this weekend was sunny and beautiful but we have had fun even when it has rained. The beach access is easy too. We love it!
