This romantic nest is enhanced by luxury bed linens, floor-to-ceiling windows, river views, and a bath with heated slate floors and a dual-head walk-in shower. The beautifully landscaped grounds lead to a fire pit next to the river, where you can lean back in Adirondack chairs enjoying the flames and gazing at the stars and mountains.

From Nehalem, you can drive south to Tillamook for a tasty visit to the Tillamook Creamery. Driving north takes you past stunning beaches, charming coastal towns like Cannon Beach, fantastic golf courses, and headlands well worth hikes for a bird’s-eye view down the shoreline. It’s a terrific launchpad for exploring the coast, especially knowing you can head back home to your sweet spot on the river.
