With a queen bed and updated bath on the ground level and a wood-paneled upper level with a living room, dining space and fully equipped kitchen, this home has all you need to relax in comfort. Its location in a wooded neighborhood of homes on a gravel road promises a quiet stay, but you’ll have lots to do: quaff a beer on the outdoor deck of the Pelican Pub as you gaze at magnificent Haystack Rock, search the rocky tidepools on the beach for sea creatures, climb the imposing dune of the Cape for world-class ocean views, or spoil yourself with a special meal at the Meridian Restaurant. You’ll be close to groceries, kayak rentals, fishing on the Nestucca River, and even a spa at the Headlands. Haystack Heights is also a terrific launchpad for exploring the Three Capes Scenic Loop to the north, where the varied terrain includes fantastic hiking into old-growth forest, clamming, dune-buggy riding, and of course exploring the capes and beaches of this fantastic stretch of coastline. At the end of the day, you’ll have a cozy, private perch to rest and rejuvenate in Haystack Heights!
