The open floor plan and vaulted ceiling of the great room are spacious accompaniments to the Central Oregon light streaming in through floor-to-ceiling windows. Cozy seating around a slate hearth, wood stove, and flat-screen TV give you and your guests an inviting place to gather in the evening; during the day you’ll want to be on the large main-level deck watching the river through dappled woodland or soaking in the hot tub. Nature enthusiasts will be delighted to see deer, birds, and otters playing in the river. The dining room has river views, and the compact but fully equipped kitchen can handle everything from a snack to a feast.
You’ll enjoy a king bedroom on the first floor and 2 queen beds and 1 twin on the second, along with a bonus room under the eaves with additional sleeping space. Bring your outdoor gear (paddleboard or kayak), and fishing poles for quick access to the river directly from the backyard, or take a quick drive to Sunriver to rent what you need. Sunriver also has plenty of fun to offer, including shopping and dining in the village, the SHARC aquatics center, golf, and loads of outdoor activities. It’s easy to get to Bend or Mt. Bachelor, too! Mt. Bachelor is just a quick 20-minute drive from the home.
