A tourist destination for over 100 years, the seven miles of beach at Rockaway are easily accessible from over 20 beach access points in this city along Highway 101. Mountains tumble down to the beach, broken by inland lakes, so hiking and fishing opportunities abound. One old-growth trail takes you through wetlands to a 150-foot-tall Western Red Cedar. Bird watching can reward you with eagles, pelicans, shorebirds and seabirds, especially on the offshore Twin Rocks. Rockaway Beach is the end-point of the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad steam train—you can board it for a trip south from the collection of shops and restaurants in town. Annual family-friendly events, including an awesome fireworks display on the 4th of July, make this a fun place to spend the day visiting the shops and exploring the seashore.
We are proud to offer our guests properties located up and down the Oregon Coast and in Sunriver.
