Plan a park-perfect family outing. Head to Regatta Grounds Park. The park provides walking trails, a play structure, a picnic area, fishing docks, a protected swimming area, a boat ramp, and a scenic view of Devils Lake.
Looking to hit the trails? Drift Creek Falls Trailhead is an easy, good for all ages, three-mile loop. What makes this hike so memorable is the suspension bridge and the 75-foot water fall at the end. This 240-foot-long bridge sits 100 feet above Drift Creek, providing a spectacular birds-eye view of the rushing water below. Leashed dogs are allowed.
Visit a world-class aquarium. A trip to Lincoln City is not complete without a stop at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport. This coastal icon highlights educational and entertaining exhibits focusing on marine mammals, invertebrates, fishes, seabirds, and plants primarily native to the Oregon Coast.

Outdoor Recreation Ideas When Staying at Olivia Beach
Fogarty Creek Loop Trail is an easy, 0.7-mile loop that winds you through Sitka spruce, shore pine and alder forest, as you make your way from the creek to the ocean. This beautiful forested park area is known as one of the best birdwatching and tide pooling spots on the Oregon Coast. Leashed pups allowed.
Another trail offering scenic views of cliffs and crashing waves is Fishing Rock Trail. This moderate, 0.5-mile out and back trail is great for sea bird and seal watching. Leashed pups allowed.
Explore Taft Beach and Bay where you can watch seals, dig for clams, catch crab from the shore, look for agates, play amongst the driftwood, and enjoy some of the best sunsets in Lincoln City. Grab an ice cream at Eleanor’s Undertow and enjoy a long stroll on the beach.
