Other not-to-miss attractions at the Nature Center include the Cosmic Crater exhibit, the Lake Aspen Loop, and the Creature Cave. For 2026, the Nature Center has introduced new interactive exhibits and expanded its summer camp programs for children.

We also recommend visiting the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Located in the Deschutes National Forest, you can hike past lakes, lava flows, cinder cones, and the famous Newberry Crater.
