Cascade Lakes Brewing Company
Established in 1994, Cascade Lakes Brewing Company has become a cornerstone of the Central Oregon craft beer scene. The brewery currently operates two welcoming pub locations: the original 7th Street Pub in Redmond and a newer Bend brewpub on Reed Market Road. This new 5,000-square-foot Bend location, open on the SE corner of Reed Market Rd and 27th St., features a rooftop bar with sweeping views of the Cascades.
Cascade Lakes is known for its high-quality craft beers, which are available in pubs and stores across six states (WA, OR, CA, ID, MT, and NV). Their core lineup includes:

A Rich History Rooted in Central Oregon
Cascade Lakes was founded by brothers Steve and Dave Gazeley, who started the brewery on a shoestring budget, piecing together a 20-barrel brewhouse from salvaged equipment, including used dairy tanks from nearby Eberhard’s Dairy. Originally intended as a production brewery in a 5,000-square-foot industrial space west of the Redmond Airport, the company opened the Seventh Street Brewhouse in Redmond in 1996 after locals clamored for a place to enjoy the beer on-site. The brewery changed hands in 2001 and saw steady growth over the next decade. In 2019, the Rhine family – Andy Rhine and his father Bruce, purchased majority ownership and brought on Ryan Schmiege, a 15-year veteran of Deschutes Brewery, as brewmaster to elevate the brand’s quality and innovation.
